Polly Tan
BSc, MOT
Occupational Therapist
Polly completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia in 2004. She worked as a Cabinet Maker and then a Recreational Therapist, but her interest in science, humanities, and creativity eventually led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her training, Polly gained occupational therapy experience working in Neurorehabilitation, Mental Health, and Pediatrics.
Polly has worked at St. Paul’s Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, and Mount St. Joseph’s Hospital in both acute and rehabilitation settings, and has collaborated with clients with complex physical and mental health challenges to create care plans that enable them to live independently in community and engage in their meaningful activities. On her spare time, Polly enjoys live music, art, outdoor activities, experimental baking, and imagining her life with a German Shepherd puppy.
