Madeline Tremblay

BSc, MOT

Registered Occupational Therapist

Madeline completed her Bachelor of Science in 2016 at Vancouver Island University with a major in cellular biology and a minor in psychology, and went on to obtain her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2020. She has experience in several health care settings, including residential care, community mental health, and outpatient neurological rehabilitation working with individuals who have experienced brain injuries or strokes. She has also worked in a hospital setting on acute medical and surgical units and in an emergency department. Madeline has utilized her education and experience completing functional and cognitive assessments with clients to inform discharge planning and equipment recommendations, and enjoys working alongside clients and their families to support achievement of their goals.

Madeline has been involved in research for the development of a telerehabilitation application for individuals who have experienced a lower limb amputation. This experience fueled her passion for providing accessible educational information to clients to further support their physical and cognitive recovery.

When not in the office, Madeline enjoys spending her time with family, relaxing by the ocean, and taking walks in nature. She appreciates that the climate on Vancouver Island enables her to participate in these activities year-round.
